UFC 110 - 2/20/10

Finally a card worth watching! Fight is on 2/20 so just a few weeks away. Even some of the undercard fights look good. Can't wait to watch! Here are the fights to choose from barring any changes due to injuries.

Howdy guys! I agree, this card looks a lot better than 109. I'm not sure where I'm going to watch it yet but I'm excited. Here are my picks based, again, on what I want.

Hopefully Cro cop wins, he needs a win bad after that showing at the fight in Philly.

This pick selection is hard for me to make. I really want Nog to win and I really want Jardine to win but I'll side with youth over experience this time.

We've seen how Wrestling can neutralize BJJ in some situations. That's what I think will happen with Cain vs. Nog. Although I would really like to see Cain get submitted.

I hope wanderlei gets the early KO otherwise I think it'll go to decision.

I expect that Keith Jardine to do leg kicks and get taken down after one of them. Then Bader will hold him and not really punish him on the ground but do a good job just holding him there.

I hope that Mirko throws a cool kick. Ben tends to just stand there and take blows. He doesn't really move out the way just charges forward. I would have said KO by Mirko but i think he's too old and slow.

I agree with you Brian on Velasquez. As much as I want Nog to win, I think Cain will be able to neutralize most of Nog's offense.

I really hope Bisping gets KO'd again like what happen in the Henderson fight. Bader will probably keep doing the same boring thing by keeping the fight on the ground 95% of the fight. I'd like to see Bader expand his game a bit but I guess why change something that's been working. We'll see..... I think Cro Cop will get a nice strike or two in to end the fight since Rothwell isn't that great of a defender. Then again Cro Cop is getting old.....

Hope all the fights are good! Last few cards were pretty disappointing.

Did you guys watch the 110 Countdown show? Can anyone be more annoying than Bisping and his coach? Bisping said something like "im going to choose my words carefully because i dont want to talk sh*t about a legend..." then he proceeds to talk sh*t.

I really want Nog to win like everyone else here. Cain might have the most impressive HW cardio out there but he doesn't seem like he can bust a grape with his punches. He landed like 1 million and half strikes to Rothwell and didn't even stun him...I know he got the stoppage but it was more because Rothwell had zero offense and zero defense. Cain also landed 251 strikes to Kongo's head and didn't finish him. I'm hoping that Nog can pull off a submission because he can probably withstand Cain's ground and pound. And I think Nog is much better on the feet, although Cain will probably shoot right away.

I just found out Rothwell is out w/ illness and will be replaced by Anthony Perosh. What do you guys want to do? I think the easy pick now is Cro Cop...so we can go w/ that or maybe pick a different fight in the undercard? Just throwing that idea out there.

Um, duh? Haha. If it doesn't work for fantasy football (IE Alex Smith, Joey Harrington), it won't really work here either. Haha.
